Royler Gracie

Check out the Fightworks Podcast Interview with Royler Gracie. He talks about his move to San Diego, what’s it mean to be accomplished as an instructor, advice on training, etc. I was fortunate to meet Royler Gracie and hang out with him in Tokyo, Japan along with other members of his family. I was also fortunate to be in the “Gracie Train” when he fought Kid Yamamoto in 2005. Royler is a really cool guy and super nice. I remember after a training session he did before his fight with Kid, he was talking with a fan of his and at the corner of his eye he saw me and one of my students working on passing the guard position. Within seconds he kind of hurried over to us and said “hey check this out, I think you’re going to like this one!” After that I thought he was one of the coolest guys ever because he went out of his way to do a small thing. Enjoy the interview. http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheFightworksPodcast
