Just a quick update. Aims tested again on her lifts and so far it’s been a HUGE improvement! Here’s a video of her doing her back squats. Before the strength program, Aims maxed out at 155lb back squat. Here she maxes out at 170lbs! She also tested on her deadlift max. Before the program she got 195lbs. Now she has a 215lb deadlift…however due to the circumstances she was in, I believe Aims can pull a 225lb deadlift. You see she maxed out on jiu-jitsu mats that were soft and a lot of give to it. She also maxed out right after her BJJ training making her tired and fatigue. I’m putting this up now because this coming week she’s going to do it again and see what she can get. Also more results to come on shoulder press and power cleans. Stay Tuned!
Update on myself, I have to put the testing on hold until my back injury heals. In the last couple weeks my back hasn’t been feeling 100%. Those days where I was suppose to test for the strength program I needed to take a break and not push it because of my back. I injured my back a year ago and it hasn’t been the same since. I recently re-injured it about a month ago or so. With tons of training (crossfit, lifting, BJJ, Muay Thai, etc.) I should of been resting but I have too much desire and passion for what I do. I’ll be back and ready to go. The Pan Ams is in a couple months so I’ll be recovering and focusing on that. Stay Tuned!
